Where to start?

I've recently stumbled onto a site called pinterest.com and have since discovered how many blogs there are out there in cyberspace. You can find blogs on just about anything including fashion, family, food (my favorite), travel, life-- among about a thousand other things. So, with that in mind. I thought I would create our own blog. A blog of the goings-on of the mester household now that we have our little peanut to spice life up a little bit. This is meant for family and friends who would like to see whats been going on in our little lives.
I'll start by flashing back to one year ago-- almost to the date. I had just passed my board exam and was officially a CRNA. Rob and I were traveling through Southern Germany with some good friends and neighbors. We attending the Oktoberfest in Munich, Germany. in fact, Rob and I were standing on top of a picnic table in a 90 degree Lowenbrau tent with 4,000 other people singing John Denver 'Take me home' or 'Sweet Caroline' by Neil Diamond with a liter of Germanys finest beer in our hands. Now, granted, I had about 5 sips of this liter and Rob finished the rest, BUT it was the experience that we will remember for the rest of our lives. We met some crazy German people that really landed itself it experiencing Germany fully.
It was the sunday we came home that I put down my bags in the hallway. Turned and told Rob I was going to Dollar General for some cheap pregnancy tests. I knew something was up. This month had an array of different symptoms than the previous 8 months rounds of fertility medicines. 20 minutes later at around 500pm-- 3 different tests came back positive. Rob, of course, true to the male form, denied such second line on the tests...needless to say, when the bloodwork the next day came back at great levels...he was still in shock! Here we are 1 year later, with a 5 month old sleeping in the next room. Crazy how life changes in an instant!
